Collaboration

Share projects. Edit together.

On paid plans: invite editors by email, work on the same timeline, see live presence, and keep owned vs shared projects separate—no password sharing.

Project sharing

One timeline, multiple editors

Collaborators get full edit access on a shared project—trim segments, captions, reframe, and export. Owners invite or remove access anytime.

How it works

From invite to publish

  1. 01

    Invite by email

Add an existing Short Bytes user from the Share button on any project you own.

  2. 02

    Edit in parallel

Presence shows who is in the editor. When someone saves, others can reload the latest cut.

  3. 03

    Shared project list

Collaborators see shared projects on their dashboard—separate from projects they own.
